Where Entrepenuers Thrive™

History

Locally owned and operated, and headquartered in Portland, Maine for 20 years, Keller Williams Realty Maine continues to surpass all Maine real estate agencies in both transaction count and volume sold, and is the largest brokerage in the state by agent count.

After learning about KW’s mission, models and systems from the Founder/Executive Chairman of Keller Williams Realty International, Gary Keller himself, four visionary women, Dottie Bowe, Leanne Barschdorf Nichols, Cathy Manchester and Linda Paolino Naylon (the Investor Group), started the franchise in 2003. Mark Richard would join as a fifth member of the Investor Group in 2019.

Since its inception, Keller Williams Realty Maine has contended in the top five most profitable KW offices in North America, sharing over $1 million in Profit Share for six consecutive years with the Associates who have helped grow the company to over 500 agents.

Over the years the company has expanded it’s footprint beyond the Portland Market Center office with Business Center offices now in Auburn, Bangor, Brunswick, Damariscotta, Kennebunk, and Saco, supporting agents throughout the state of Maine and beyond; the office is also licensed in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Culture

Most importantly, Keller Williams was built on a simple-yet-revolutionary principle: People are what matter most. To help cement this understanding, we’ve formalized what we call the MVVBP; our Mission, Vision, Values, Beliefs, and Perspective.
