Legally named Hawa but prefers to go by Eve Ali since her college age. She is a mother, wife and a very involved individual in the community. Eve participates in social justice advocacy in her community. Born in Djibouti, Eve speaks French, Somali, English and Arabic. When she moved to America, she immediately took part of the Maine democracy process and shifted of power by occupying a position as a canvasser at a local Nonprofit. Along with her colleagues, Eve knocked on doors in different counties around Maine. she celebrated that work heartly after Maine elected their first female Governor, which reassure women's right by upholding the abortion rights after the supreme court decision. Eve has a bachelor's degree in human language, she graduated from the University of Djibouti, then started a master's degree in peace and international relations in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. She always looks for ways to give back to the community.
